Dandelion Chocolate
We opened our first factory and café on Valencia Street in 2012 to share the bean-to-bar chocolate-making experience with visitors. We bought, built, and repurposed machinery to perform every step of the process, and constructed an open space where guests may enjoy a front-row seat. To this day, we invite Valencia Street visitors to come in and stay a while — sample our single-origin chocolate bars, savor a steaming mug of House Hot Chocolate, and watch our chocolate makers at work.
Our Valencia Street Café Collection celebrates our foundations: The Three-Bar Tasting Set provides an introduction to the intriguing flavors of single-origin dark chocolate; our House Hot Chocolate Mix, a Dandelion café favorite since day one, highlights our fudgy 70% Camino Verde, Ecuador beans; and Chocolate-Covered Caramelized Almonds and Chocolate-Covered Nibs, two of our earliest collaborations, offer a taste of S.F.-based Feve Chocolates’ beautiful, boldly flavored confections.
Gold-foil artwork depicting our Valencia Street location is by Pinehurst, North Carolina-based artist Cara Mathis.

Cara Mathis is a pen-and-ink artist living in Pinehurst, North Carolina, where she combines her loves of architecture and doodling to create black-and-white keepsakes of her favorite people, places, and things. Cara hand-sketched the illustrations for all of our Flagship Collection gift boxes, and we are charmed by her playful, elegant depictions of each Dandelion location.
