Our decadent Single-Origin Chocolate Peanut Spread is crafted in-house in small batches, pairing Dandelion 70% Costa Esmeraldas, Ecuador chocolate with organic peanuts in smooth, velvety form. Using the fewest, best ingredients possible, Head Chocolatier Ashley led our Confections team through extensive recipe testing to determine which cocoa origin’s tasting notes harmonize best with gently roasted peanuts. Our team steered clear of cocoa powder, emulsifiers, and vanilla — common additives that can mute flavors — and created this spread from only fresh peanuts, Dandelion chocolate, organic cane sugar, a drizzle of Good Food Award-winning La Tourangelle peanut oil, and a touch of sea salt, for perfectly balanced chocolatiness, peanuttiness, and spreadability.
Presented in a reusable glass jar, our Single-Origin Peanut Spread is a bit firm at room temperature, and melts like a dream on freshly toasted baguette or croissant, or stirred into oatmeal or hot chocolate. Heat briefly for a decadent ice-cream topping — or enjoy straight from the jar!
