House Hot Chocolate Mix
Has Sold Out

We understand! Short, brisk December days require hot chocolate. While we no longer have this House Hot Chocolate Mix, these two other mixes will also warm any winter day: Mission Hot Chocolate Mix with a spicy kick of cayenne pepper and pasilla chile and our Hojicha Hot Chocolate Mix with a smooth mix of lightly roasted green tea. Or consider our House Hot Chocolate Trio with all three hot chocolate variations (including this House Hot Chocolate Mix).

We expect to have this House hot chocolate mix again in January. Please provide your email address below to be the first to know when we have more. Most of all, hoping that this season finds you and your loved ones safe and well. If we can help with any of your gifting needs, please don't hesitate to reach out via chat, phone, or email. Most of all, thank you for your continued support this holiday season.

House Hot Chocolate Mix

Dandelion Chocolate

We’ve always craved hot chocolate drinks that are thick, rich, and profoundly chocolatey. One of the reasons we launched a chocolate factory in San Francisco was to offer the perfect hot chocolatey antidote to a city with over one hundred days of fog.

Our classic House Hot Chocolate is rich, subtly sweet, and deeply chocolatey. Inside each bottle includes the hot chocolate mix made from the 70% Camino Verde, Ecuador single-origin chocolate we use for our house hot chocolate drinks, and, of course, a basic recipe for the home hot chocolate enthusiast.

The corked bottle design started a few years ago when Remy Labesque, a very talented industrial designer, attended our Introduction to Chocolate class. Over many months, he developed the concept for these corked bottles and oversaw their production in Japan. We hope that the bottles will be a functional, beautiful object with many future uses.

Each bottle makes four servings.

Our Chocolate Philosophy

Bean to Bar in San Francisco

We’re Dandelion Chocolate, a bean-to-bar chocolate maker in San Francisco’s Mission District. For over 10 years, we’ve been turning cocoa beans and organic sugar into pure dark chocolate. We travel and build lasting relationships with cocoa farmers and producers, then craft small batches of chocolate back home in our factory. With our minimal approach, we aim to highlight different beans’ distinctive flavor notes—from classic fudge to tangy fruit.

JUST
TWO INGREDIENTS

Beans and sugar.
That's all.

Our chocolate bars are just two ingredients: cocoa beans and organic sugar. We never add cocoa butter, soy lecithin, vanilla, flavorings, or preservatives because those ingredients mask the inherent flavors in beans.

PRODUCER
FOCUSED

Good cocoa starts
with good relationships.

Good relationships are absolutely essential to procuring consistently good flavor. We work closely with the producers who grow, ferment, and dry the single-origin cocoa beans we source, so we can share this amazing cocoa.
