Cacao Pulp Juice
Robert and Kayla Weidner, the founders of Repurposed Pod, bottle this 100% virgin pressed cacao juice on their 1200 hectare cacao farm outside the city of Cerecita in the Guayas Province of Ecuador. The juice doesn’t taste like chocolate. It’s light and refreshing, sweet and tangy, with flavors of lychee and citrus.
How do they make it? Once the cacao beans from fresh cacao pods have been removed for making chocolate, the fleshy, white pulp that’s left behind is squeezed immediately on the farm -- without added sugar or preservatives.
Drink it cold, or mix it into your favorite smoothie, spritzer, or cocktail.
